Basics:
Instructors: Create a Turnitin Assignment
- In your Mooodle Course - Add an Activity or Resource - Select Assignment
- Set a Due Date for the Assignment (failure to do so makes the Turnitin Due Date - 1 week after creation of the assignment)
- In the "Turnitin plagiarism plugin settings"
- Set Enable Turnitin to "Yes"
- Set other settings as appropriate
- In your Mooodle Course - Add an Activity or Resource - Select Assignment
Students: Submit the Assignment (online text or PDF, Word or PowerPoint file upload)
- Upon submission a Turnitin Id is generated.
- After processing (few minutes to hours) an originality % is displayed.
- Click on the % to view your originality report
- Click on the pencil to view Turnitin Feedback (if used by your instructor)
Instructors: View the Originality Reports and Provide Feedback
- We recommend the use of the normal Moodle Assignment Feedback process (Rubrics, Grading Guides, etc.)
- You can alternately use Feedback Studio
