  • In some cases, students who test positive for COVID-19 may be asked to isolate at home, away from campus, in order to best support their recovery and ensure limiting exposure to others on campus.
  • Reporting:When a student has been in close contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 (clinical diagnosis or test-confirmed), they must quarantine for 14 days. If a student is showing symptoms of COVID-19, they should get tested.Isolation:
    1. Students who show symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19 should isolate themselves immediately and contact Health Services.
    2. The isolation period will last until In the event of a positive COVID test, students must isolate until they are fever-free for three consecutive days without fever-reducing medication, and ten days since the onset of symptoms.
  • Quarantine
    1. Students must quarantine for 14 days if they have been in direct close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (clinical diagnosis or test-confirmed).
    2. Direct Close contact is defined as being with the infected person for 15 minutes or more at less than 6 feet distance. All other contact is considered indirect and does not necessitate being quarantined.
