- Isolation:
- Students who show symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19 should isolate themselves immediately and contact Health Services (651.638.6215) to determine whether or not to get tested..
- In the event of a positive COVID-19 test, students must isolate until they are fever-free for three consecutive days without fever-reducing medication, and ten days since the onset of symptoms.
- Quarantine
- Students must quarantine for 14 days if they have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (clinical diagnosis or test-confirmed).
- Close contact is defined as being with the infected person for 15 minutes or more at less than 6 feet distance. All other contact is considered indirect and does not necessitate being quarantined.
- Reporting:
- When a student has been in close contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 (clinical diagnosis or test-confirmed), they must quarantine for 14 days. If a student is showing symptoms of COVID-19, they should get tested.If in isolation or quarantine, students must notify Health Services , remain (651.638.6215), remain isolated in their residence or travel to isolate at their permanent residence, and not interface with other students or staff during the quarantine period.
