This article will walk the user through how to download Google Photos and Albums through using Google Takeout. It will walk through how to upload to a personal Google Photos storage.

3. Scroll down until you have found Google Photos. You can select the box next to that option and click on All photos albums included. 4. You can select the album created, a previous album, or a year of photos.
5. On the next page will be options to download the contents you selected. You will use the Send download link via email option. You will have Export once selected and the File Size will depend on how large of a file you have created. Once those settings have been set, you can select Create export. 6. Once you have clicked on Create export, you will receive a message that states the export progress has started. This may take a couple of hours or a day depending on size of folder. 7. You will then navigate to your email once you have received the email stating transfer is complete. The email will be received from noreply@google.com. You will click on the option Download your files. 8. Once downloaded, you will navigate to your downloads folder on your computer. If you are on a Mac, you will double click the folder to unzip the folder. If you are on a Windows, you will need right click the folder and select the option Extract All. 9. We would recommend sorting the files within the unzipped folder by Type or by File Type. You are now ready to proceed to upload the personal photos to your personal drive. |

3. You will navigate to the Google Takeout unzipped folder and select all the photos you would like selected. If sorted by type, you can click the top photo and hold the Shift button on your computer, then select the last photo to highlight every photo in that folder. 4. Your photos will start to be uploaded and will be available in your personal account! |
