Summary
The following article will show you how to set up, use, take down, and return a borrowed speakerphone. Speakerphones are available in most conference rooms and are available upon request from the IT Help Desk.

Set Up
- Find a phone that is hooked up to a wall.
- Unhook that phone from the wall.
- Plug one end of the Yellow tagged Cord ethernet cable into the now open wall port.
- Plug the other end of the Yellow Cord into the power supply's left port with the icon of the wall port.
Plug one end of the Red tagged Cord into the power supply's middle port with the icon of the speakerphone.
Plug the other end of the Red Cord into the ethernet cable into the Speakerphone port located on the underside on the arm furthest away from the dialing pad.
Plug the power supply into an outlet. The speakerphone should now be on and ready to use.
Usage
- To dial the number you wish to use the Speakerphone with, press the "Talk" button, the larger oval button located on the left of the dialing pad with the icon of a telephone. A dial tone should be heard if it's working properly.
- Dial the number like you would any Bethel phone:
- If it's a Bethel extension, just dial the four numbers.
- If it's an external number, then dial the 10-digit number.
- Once you are done using the Speakerphone, press the "Talk" button again to end the call.
Take Down and Return
- Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
Unplug the Red and Yellow cords ethernet from both ends and wrap them up. - Put both cables and the power supply cable in the top zippered compartment and close it.
- Slide the Speakerphone into the bottom zippered compartment such that the dialing pad is facing upwards towards the top zippered compartment and then close it.
- Plug the phone back into the wall.
- Return the Speakerphone to the ITS Help Desk in RC419 and reference your case number to complete the return process.
