Bulk uploading assignment feedback files, comments and grades
Summary
Moodle Assignments now support bulk uploading of assignment response files (contain comments & tracked changes). You can also upload grades and general comments using an excel spreadsheet that can be downloaded from the Assignment.
Bulk uploading assignment feedback files can save you a lot of time, as you can upload them in one step, rather than one-by-one as you used to have to do.

To download all the submissions and the grading worksheet
- Click on the assignment name on your Moodle course page to access the summary page and click View all submissions.
- From the Grading action drop-down menu choose: Download all submissions
- Unzip the submissions to a convenient location on your computer. It is recommended you unzip to a new folder, so all the feedback files are kept together and can be easily selected and zipped back together later.
- Double clicking on the downloaded file should launch the unzipping software. Follow the prompts to extract the individual assignments from the zip file.
- From the Grading action drop-down menu choose: Download gradingworksheet and save this to a convenient place on your computer.
- Open each assignment and use track changes, comments or other annotating tools available in Word, PDF or whichever type of document it is you are marking. Save your changes.
- Open the downloaded Grading worksheet file in Excel, or a similar spreadsheet editor. Enter grades in the Grade column and comments in the Feedback comments column for each student.
