Term: One year

Description: The Budget Committee provides an avenue for faculty and leadership updates and input into the development of the annual unrestricted operating budget. 

Duties: Gain insight into the fiscal challenges facing the University for the upcoming year. Provide ideas for improving the budget outcomes as well as the overall budget process. Review and prioritize requests for additional budget allocations across all departments. 

Confidentiality: Some discussions will be confidential in nature and cannot be shared outside of the committee meeting.

Meetings: Frequent meetings in the fall, fewer Once a month, Sept - May; No meetings in the spring.summer.
