This article lays out the scope of printing support services at Bethel University and the role of the Print Care Specialist (PCS).
Responsibilities of the PCS
- Trained on-site Loffler PrintCare Specialist (PCS) for proactive and reactive support of on campus MFD’s and Printers:
Maintain paper and toner inventories and deliver as needed.
First call for support.
Support deployment and coordinate movement of devices on campus.
Provide reporting and budgetary information
Utilize the Loffler software tools for account management
Loffler Companies shall provide service support personnel, knowledgeable in digital equipment and in networking equipment, provide all necessary maintenance and repair. Loffler Companies’ technical staff shall communicate and coordinate with Bethel's technical staff when updates and upgrades are available. Loffler Companies technical staff will be available to assist Bethel with installation of manufacturer's firmware, when necessary.
Loffler Companies will provide parts and supplies for equipment

All printers have a placard attached that will provide the x8613 for contacting the PrintCare Specialist for support
After hours and weekend printing support, x8613 is forwarded to the ITS Helpdesk
