This article will walk the user through how to archive personal emails in their Bethel email account. There is currently not a way to import this archive into a personal account.

  1. Navigate to Google Takeout.
  2. The first thing you need to do is Deselect All at the top right of the screen.

3. Scroll down until you have found Mail. You can select the box next to that option and click on All Mail data included.

4. You can select the label that you created or all mail if you wish.

5. On the next page will be options to download the contents you selected. You will use the Send download link via email option. You will have Export once selected and the File Size will depend on how large of a file you have created. Once those settings have been set, you can select Create export.

6. Once you have clicked on Create export, you will receive a message that states the export progress has started. This may take a couple of hours or a day depending on size of folder.

7. You will then navigate to your email once you have received the email stating transfer is complete. The email will be received from noreply@google.com. You will click on the option Download your files.

8. You have now downloaded an archive of your personal emails!
