YouTube Capture no longer works with the latest iOS. The capturing and uploading features of YouTube Capture are now part of the YouTube app. This app can be downloaded through the App Store on your iOS device. Click here to go to the YouTube App Helps Page.
If you are running an older iOS (11 is the current one) you can still use YouTube Capture.
YouTube Capture is an iOS app for capturing, trimming and uploading video on an iOS device to ones YouTube account.
If you capture your video on an Android phone you will not need additional software to upload your clip to YouTube. This is a built-in feature on Android phones.
YouTube Capture is an iOS app for both iPhone and iPad. It allows you to capture, trim and upload your video to either your personal or Bethel YouTube account. You can also trim and upload previous captured video.
The first thing you will need to do is download the YouTube Capture app from the iOS App store.Â
Step by Step Instructions on How To Use YouTube Capture
Open the app and go to the setting page - click on icon in lower left corner

 and then the settings link in upper right corner

You will want to link to your YouTube account - click on YouTube and set the Uploading resolution to 360p

To capture video, navigate back to the video screen and press Red record button to start and stop the capture. By default, you are forced to shoot the video in landscape mode (this makes a better video). You can turn this off on the setting screen if you wish.
You can shoot multiple clips, which can be trimmed and uploaded separately or added together to make a longer clip. Until you verify your YouTube account you are limited to 15 minute clip lengths.
