Adobe Scan
Adobe Scan is an app that is available both for Android and iPhone. It can be used to scan multiple pages of documents and create a singe PDF document. It does a great job of straightening and enhancing the scanned images so they are easily readable.
Using Adobe Scan
1 | Download the app from either Google Play or the Apple AppStore.
2 | Open apps and create free Adobe Cloud account (this is where the app saves the PDFs)
3 | Layout the document(s) you need to scan in a area that has good lighting.
4 | Open the app and click on the camera icon in the blue oval at the bottom for the screen.
5 | Point your phone at your document and follow the direction on the screen, allowing the app to find your document
6 | Adjust the crop if need, then hit continue.
7 | If you have additional documents you want to scan for the same PDF, repeat steps 4 and 5 as needed.
8 | Once you are done scanning click the images in the lower right hand corner of the screen to continue.
9 | To create the PDF click on the "Save PDF" text at the top of the screen. |
Sharing your PDF
To share your PDF, click on the "share" icon on the main screen of the Adobe Scan app.
This will open a dialogue box at the bottom of the screen with an option to get a sharable link ("Share Link") to your document or you can "Share a Copy" which allows you to save the PDF to your phone directly.
