Student Success Advisor Contact Information

Each program has a designated Student Success Advisor (SSA) who serves as the first point of contact for advising and support while you are enrolled in classes. The SSA can assist you with course selection, program planning, and other academic and registration questions. They are also able to provide referrals to a number of other support offices on campus, based on each student's particular needs.

Bethel Library Subject Guides

These guides are designed specifically for each program to help students conduct their research as well as to provide links to commonly used e-books, search engines, reference guides, and web pages.  Many of these guides overlap on some of the resources provided, but all contain helpful information for seminary students looking for study and research resources.  If you are having trouble finding or accessing certain articles or journals or were wanting help conducting research, the reference librarians are available by appointment, phone, email, and chat.

Writing and Study Resources

Seminary and theology require different writing and research skills than other fields like science or business.  To the right is a list of resources to help you learn more about the expectations regarding tone, content, citation, and vocabulary as well as guides for specific formats you may be assigned to use.

Additional Resources

Work with Purpose

Work with Purpose is a Bethel Initiative created to help the church embrace an integrated, kingdom vision of work, vocation, economics, and whole-life discipleship.  The site includes a video and audio archive, a list of publications and suggested reading, sermon notes, and preaching resources.  If you are looking for inspiration or information about faith in the workplace, this is a great place to start.  Theology of Work is also a great resource for pastors, scholars, and laypeople alike.

Intercultural Conversations

As Christians, we are united in our commitment to Christ, yet our individual roles and how we follow Him can look very different because of our unique racial and cultural identities.  So, at Bethel, we work hard to make sure these differences are not only recognized but celebrated and enjoyed.  Below are a few resources for students looking to improve their intercultural literacy.
