Wellness and Mental Health
At Bethel we seek to promote a culture of individual and systemic wellbeing. Here are some tools to help you adapt, grow, and thrive even in the face of adversity. We encourage you to reach out to us; our doors are always open.
Wellbeing at Bethel
Bethel offers several different resources for students to invest in their personal, emotional and social well-being. The Wellness Center offers online guided activities, regular blog posts, and the 21 Days Challege, a twice-yearly event aimed at helping you change your daily habits to encourage physical, spiritual, and psychological growth.
Counseling Services
The Counseling Services clinic seeks to support, encourage, and guide Bethel students throughout their college experience. Staffed with trained professionals, the clinic offers short-term counseling and consultation services to students from all four schools. The first six sessions are free for students, and subsequent visits are $25 per session.
Wellness Center
In an uplifting atmosphere, Bethel students can utilize state-of-the-art equipment and innovative programming to meet fitness and health goals. The Wellness Centers offers in-person and virtual fitness classes, a range of cardio, weight training, cycling, and rowing equipment as well as day-use lockers for personal items.
Single Parent Support
Bethel University adult undergraduate, seminary, and graduate programs focus on adult students and their specific goals and needs, including parenting while completing a degree. To this end, Bethel offers opportunities designed for single parents to form relationships with other single parents; to form relationships with faculty; to attend short presentations/discussions on Bethel, state, and federal resources; and encouragement to grow spiritually.
