Tools - Polling Resources for in and out of class

How do I create a poll (live or delayed) in my course?

There is an abundance of polling tools available and these are just a few of the ideas.

1. Google Docs: Use Google Docs to create a Google Form and then set it up so that it immediately displays the results in your spreadsheet charts.  (YouTube version of how to create a poll for use in MoodleCreate a poll using Google Forms)

2. Moodle: Use a Moodle  survey Activity like Questionnaire or Feedback 

3. Clickers  - Audience Response Systems: For in class you can check out either a TurningPoint or an iClicker set from Information Commons (Circulation Desk) in the Bethel University Library.

RemotePoll and ResponseWare - A Use Any Device TurningPoint Solution

4. Poll Anywhere: If you want live access via mobile devices use a service like Poll Anywhere which is free for polls under 40 participants.

5. Socrative: If you want live access via mobile devices use a service like socrative.com  which is free for polls under 50 participants. (Computer, Android, and iOS)
