Moodle - Assignment - Grading
A brief overview of Moodle Assignment grading. (Version 3.2+) When you click the Grade button, you will see some features that will help you to grade submitted assignments. Feature 1: Review Panal - Paper Display and Annotation Use the Navigation tool to view multiple pages of the learner's assignment. Use the Annotation tools to: Add comments: To delete comments or other tool created items, re-select the "select tool", click on the item, and then click on the trash/edit icon in the upper right corner. Feature 2: Student Selection: Feature 3: Grade Panel - The grading area: Feature 4: Notify Students and Save Changes: Feature 5: Grading Views Options: Collapse Review Panel: This view provides the old grading format for assignments, displaying only the Grade panel. Restore Default Review/Grade Panel view: This view provides both the Review and Grade panels. Collapse Grade Panel: This view shows only the Review panel/Summary
Grade button - Grading Online Text or File Upload Assignments
The paper loads in PDF format regardless of the file type that the student us uploaded.
Use the Arrows to move to the next or previous student or the drop down to select a specific student.
The grading area contains the assignment description, any rubric or grading guide, the comments box and the grade assignment box for the assignment.
After providing student feedback and entering a grade on the assignment you must save your changes and are also given the option of notifying students that their assignment has been reviewed.
