Description: The purpose of this Committee is to review and recommend policies relating to University faculty. The Committee reviews all faculty policies that relate to all three units (CAS, CAPS/GS, Seminary) and makes recommendations to the three units and/or administration on behalf of the three units for any changes or new policies. This Committee does not make binding changes, but instead makes advisory recommendations. It is up to each unit to determine their process for ratifying any changes to policy. The Committee also reviews the Faculty Handbook to ensure its consistency with current policies.

In reviewing faculty policies, the FPRC will seek principles of fair and equitable treatment, which may differ in separate academic units according to their divergent missions.

Quorum: Minimum four members, with at least one member from each unit.

Meetings: Once a month or as needed determined by chair.

Record-keeping: Agendas and minutes from this Committee will be shared reciprocally with the Faculty Leadership Collaboration.
