Training and Development

The Office of People and Culture is committed to offering numerous training and development opportunities to faculty and staff members. The overall purpose for the training is to further equip our employees for continued growth in their professional and personal lives. Any training and development opportunities scheduled and offered by Bethel during common workday hours are free to all faculty and staff members. For more information, please contact the Office of People and Culture.

All employees are expected to complete the New Employee Experience Moodle course which is a traditional onboarding curriculum, designed to explain payroll, benefits, Bethel technology, etc. as well as assist the new employee in completing all compliance related training required within the first 30 days on the job.

The Best Practices of Bethel Moodle course will be required for all employees to complete at least once every five years. This asynchronous online training orients employees to the most up to date best practices for employees across the university.

Employees from outside of Minnesota will be oriented to Bethel's mission by their supervisor. If outlying locations need information for orientation purposes, they may contact the Office of People and Culture.
