Shuttle Service
The Office of Safety and Security oversees aspects of Transportation Services for the University. These include operations of the Vehicle Fleet, management of University drivers, and operation of campus shuttle services.
Shuttle Services
Transportation Services operate shuttles on an on-call basis:
Community members can call Safety & Security dispatch at 651.638.6000 to request a ride during our hours of operation.
Callers will be asked to provide their name, location, destination, and a callback number.
Callers are encouraged to wait at the nearest shuttle stop for the ride - this greatly improves wait times for other users.
On-campus rides will be served with priority to off-campus rides.
If wait times exceed 30 minutes, callers may be encouraged to utilize the local Metro Micro service for off-campus rides.
Shuttle Stops
Off-Campus shuttle service can visit the following locations:
Pine Tree Drive
Dunn Brothers Coffee shop
Cub Foods
Lexington Station
Target
Shuttle Accessibility
Transportation operates one state-inspected and ADA-certified lift-equipped bus to transport community members with long-term or temporary mobility impairments, in cooperation with the Bethel Office of Accessibility Resources and Services (OARS) and Campus Health Services. The ADA van can pick up and drop off passengers at the ADA (side) entrances to Lakeside Center, Robertson Center, and Hagstrom Center, and to/from the Health Services office on Kresge Commons when requested by Health Services staff.
