Campaign posters, lawn signs, and similar materials generally may not be posted on university property; however, notices announcing political events and signage displayed by students in their residences are allowed in accordance with Bethel’s advertising guidelines: Additional information can be found here.
Students are advised to use discretion when placing political signs in their residence hall windows. When making choices, a student should consider the following:
- Does the signage conflict with any written university stance or policy?
- Will the signage limit a student’s ability to engage in meaningful dialogue and learning with the student body?
If you have further questions, please contact the Dean of Student Life.
