Faculty members who must maintain professional licensure as part of their employment responsibilities (e.g. licensure as counselors, athletic trainers, or social workers) will be reimbursed for the cost of licensure. Instructors may present a receipt or a letter of acknowledgement of payment to the Office of Academic Affairs. Faculty may also request reimbursement for conferences where they earn CEU’s to maintain this license. Reimbursements will not exceed the cost of one summer session (maximum of six semester-credits) at the University of Minnesota.
