Summary
The Moodle Dashboard is the landing page for https://moodle.bethel.edu. The dashboard can be a powerful tool to help navigate Moodle.
Course Overview
The Course Overview block lies in the middle of the Moodle dashboard. It has several filters including: All (except removed from view), In progress, Future, Past, Starred, and Removed from view.
- All (except removed from view) will show all courses. Any course that been chosen to be removed from view will not show. To remove a course, select the three dots next to the course title. In the drop down menu that appears, select Remove from view.
- Remove from view will show any course that has been selected to Remove from View.
- Starred will show any course that has been starred. To star a course, select the three dots next to the course title. In the drop down menu that appears, select Star this course. Starred can be very useful to only show a few select courses that are commonly accessed.
- In progress will show any course that has or soon to be started based on the course start date. A course will move to Past two weeks after the course has closed based on the course end date.
- Past will show any course that has closed based on the course end date.
- Future will show any course that has not yet occurred based on the course start date.
Moodle Support Block
The Moodle support block is located on the right side of the Moodle dashboard. The support block gives a variety of options to contact Bethel support if an issue arrises with Moodle.
