As of Spring 2013 SPSS is available for installation on Bethel Employee's personal computer.
Conditions of Install:
- Bethel employees are authorized to install and use SPSS only for academic classroom associated use only. Institutional or commercial use requires the purchase of a single user SPSS license.
- ITS will install SPSS on any Bethel owned computer upon request if it is not already installed.
- If an employee (faculty or staff) needs to use SPSS on an non-Bethel owned computer, please use VPN to connect to campus when using the software, the Off-campus license is not an option.
- Licenses can be renewed annually by requesting a new authorization number. At that time the employee would have the option of upgrading to the newer version of SPSS or just getting a new authorization number for the existing version.

Process of Adding SPSS to a Personal Computer:
Download version of SPSS matching to . Either download the file while on campus or use a high speed connection from home as the SPSS installer is a large download at nearly a 1GB.
Use your Bethel account to access the download files

- SPSS Statistics 28 - Windows 64 bit
Install and authorize the software - Use the install directions option "Installing from a Downloaded File"
