COVID-19 Testing
We are building our capacity for testing on campus and are relying on CDC and MDH guidelines regarding who should get tested. We have an agreement with Mayo Clinic Laboratories to provide testing analysis. Students will be given first priority for testing. As supplies and testing appointments are available, onsite COVID-19 testing will be available for employees.
COVID-19 Tracing
When a member of the Bethel community reports a positive COVID-19 test, a COVID-19 team member and/or the Minnesota Department of Health will contact anyone who is identified as a close contact of the person with the positive test, notify them of potential exposure, and advise on next steps. Close contact is defined as spending 15 minutes or more with the person at less than 6 feet distance.
Health Privacy Policy
All COVID-19 data collected from the Health Services COVID-19 Notification Form will only be sent to and stored by Health Services. In addition, all HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies will govern the privacy of data shared.
