  • Students must wear face coverings in all common areas of their residence halls, including hallways, kitchens, lounges, study rooms, laundry rooms, and shacks when social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
  • Students will be able to use only those kitchen items that they themselves provide in the common kitchen(s).
  • Lounges and study rooms will remain open to student use. Students should follow posted capacity.
    • Students must remain 6 feet apart.
    • Chairs/tables will be set to follow proper distancing guidelines. Students or staff should not move the furniture to be closer together.
    • Facilities Management staff will clean and reset furniture every day.
  • Laundry rooms will be open. Students should not touch any other student’s laundry items.
  • Couches/tables will be set up to keep 6 feet separation between people. They must not be moved closer together.
  • Recreational equipment will be open to students in their residence hall lounge and their guests. Table tennis and pool equipment will be available, but sanitizing must occur before and after use. Sanitizing products will be provided.
