LiteShow 4 Bethel Quick Start Guide

Quick Start Instructions


1. Turn on the display or projector using the in room remote. The Liteshow splash screen is displayed.
2. Note the Login Code and the Server IP.

3. Make sure your laptop is connected to Bethel-WiFi.
4. Open the Liteshow Manger Application on your laptop.


5. For the Connect to an Access Point or a Server - Click Skip ***IMPORTANT

 

6. In the Current Server box type the Server IP and Login Code as displayed on the display and click OK


To START, click the Play button on the Liteshow control panel.
To STOP displaying click the Stop button

Software Downloads and Installs: Installing the LiteShow Manager Application on your computer

 

LiteShow 4  - Download LiteShow Manager for Windows or Mac

Bethel Windows LiteShow 4 Download - Has Bethel settings. (Download the zip file, open it and click on the installer link.)

Windows LiteShow 4 Download -  LiteShow4.msi

Apple LiteShow 4 Download - LiteShow4 MAC.pkg (Control - click on the pkg file and select open to install)

Alternate: In a browser, type the ip address on the screen (140.88.xxx.xxx) in your browser address bar, leaving login set to none and password field empty, click Login, and select Windows or Mac downloads.

Mobile Devices

Alternate Install Method: 

  1. In your web browser's address field (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) type the Server IP as listed on the wall display.
  2. Leave Login set to None and click the Login button.
  3. Click the Download link to download
  4. Install the downloaded Liteshow application
    • Windows – Open the installer LiteShow4.msi and install.
    • Mac – Open the installer, LiteShow4 MAC.pkg and install.  Then, open your Applications folder, control-click on LiteShow.app, and select "Open", to allow the final install of the application.


Access Management of LiteShow (Meeting Leaders)

  1. In the LiteShow application, select Web Management from the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the application.
  2. For Login select Basic User, for Password enter the Login Code from the wall display, and click the Login button.

         


Windows Users

  1. To use Audio, click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the control panel. 
    Select "Send Audio to Display" and select "Yes".


Mac Users

  1. Lite Show Manager Application won't open on first use: Control-click (right-click) on your Liteshow App in the Applications folder and select open from the popup menu.
  2. Apple's App Nap feature will disconnect you after 3-5 minutes. To prevent app-nap: Select Get Info, and select the "Prevent App Nap" checkbox.
