1. Sign Bethel’s COVID-19 Community Agreement:

Each member of the community will be asked to sign Bethel’s COVID-19 Community Agreement, committing to follow the guidelines that have been created to help keep all in our community safe. Some key behavior will include wearing face coverings, practicing social distancing, monitoring our health, and reporting any concerns you have about your health or the health of others. You will receive an email when the Community Agreement is available.

2. Wear a face covering: add the idea of wearing face coverings inside and outside in spaces where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Based on CDC guidance, the use of cloth masks is required in public common spaces including all campus buildings, classrooms, indoor athletic spaces, the Anderson Center, hallways, common restrooms, laundry rooms, etc. In addition, where areas do not permit at least six feet between students, students are expected to wear cloth masks. Students will be provided with two masks upon arrival. Link to full mask policy?

3. Practice social distancing:

While on campus, students will be asked to practice social distancing consistently, maintaining a distance of 6 feet between each other, whether or not they are wearing face coverings.

4. Accommodations:

If you need disability-related accommodations to one or more of the COVID-19 policies and expectations, you should contact the Office of Accessibility Resources and Services (OARS) at accessibility-services@bethel.edu. To ensure we can serve you best, we would encourage you to contact OARS as soon as possible.

5. Violation of student commitments:

Disregarding community commitments will result in redemptive disciplinary action on behalf of Bethel University through the Office of Student Life.
