Secure File Sharing is Bethel's best tool to share sensitive data, such as personally identifiable information, with outside parties. This tool should substitute email as a means of securely transferring information. Any Faculty or Staff member can access Secure File Sharing with their credentials. A history of shared documents is kept within the application. Access to these documents can be terminated at any time.

Prerequisite:

  4. An email should be sent to the recipients with all the information. As a follow up, it may be beneficial to provide a link to the information. This can be found on the last screen. It is not advised to share the password and the URL via email as anyone with the URL and password can access the documents.
