- Click on the assignment
- Click on "Add submission" at the bottom of the page
- There will now be a green "Record" red camera button at the bottom of the recorder
- When you are ready to begin your video, press recordthe camera button
- When you are done with your video, press stop
- There may also be a timer at the top of the recorder. This timer will count down if there is a time limit for the assignment
- Wait for "Uploaded Successful" before clicking Save Changes
- If you click Save Changes before getting the "Uploaded Successful" message, the assignment will not submit
- If you want to watch your video, you can click back into the assignment to watch your submission
- If allowed, you can edit your submission
- Please check with your professor to ensure that you are allowed multiple attempts before removing your submission

Forum Submissions
When a faculty member creates a forum in Moodle, Poodll can also be used to create a video response. Poodll is built into every forum, so please read the instructions or verify with your professor if video, audio, or text is required.

- Click on the forum
- Click on "Add a new discussion topic"
- Put a title in the Subject line
- Select the camera icon from the toolbar (middle toolbar (second option)
- There will now be a "Record" red camera button at the bottom of the recorder
- When you are ready to begin your video, press recordthe camera button
- When you are done with your video, press stop
- If you are happy with the result, click save
- Wait for Poodll to post the video player in the forum post
- If you click out of the forum before Poodll has fully saved, the video will not post
- Click "Post to forum"

- Click on the forum
- Choose a forum post to respond
- Click Reply
- Choose Advanced in the bottom right
- Select the camera icon from the toolbar (middle second option)
- There will now be a "Record" red camera button at the bottom of the recorder
- When you are ready to begin your video, press recordthe camera button
- When you are done with your video, press stop
- If you are happy with the result, click save
- Wait for the conversion to finish the recording pop up window to disappear.
- A URL or embedded video will appear in the forum text box.
- Click "Post to forum"
