Summary

A label is a versatile resource that can offer space and add text to the layout in your course.   

Step-by-Step Directions

  • "Turn Editing on" in your course
  • Add a resource and select "Label"
  • In the Adding a New Label page, fill in the Label text field 
  • By default, viewing access is not restricted and students will be able to view the label once it is published to the course.  If you would prefer to restrict access, within the "Label" settings, click "Restrict Access", select the type of restriction you would like to have on the label and make adjustments accordingly.
  • Click the "Save and Return to course" button at the bottom of the page.
