While the university does not provide cell phones and plans for employees, we recognize that certain roles require extensive cell phone use and, therefore, employees in those roles will receive a $30 stipend if they meet the following criteria:
- 25% or more time traveling and actively recruiting for Bethel.
- 25% or more time traveling and actively fundraising for Bethel.
- Consistent (daily) cell phone use related to the safety and security of students and/or employees.
- 80% or more time traveling and using a Bethel device to do one’s job.
On rare occasions where extensive data is used, such as in Athletics and Development, a $75 stipend may be granted with approval by their Cabinet member.
