The Office of Accessibility Resource & Services (OARS), uses a database called AIM which has a feature called theFaculty Portal. The Faculty Portal provides information about students who are registered with OARS and their accommodations. Faculty can reference the accessibility statement and accommodation process for context about how the Faculty Notification Letters are sent.

How to access AIM Faculty Portal 

To access the portal, go to the AIM login page and use your Bethel credentials to log into the Faculty Login.

How to view accommodation letters in AIM

To see a copy of the student's accommodation letter, click on 'View.'



Faculty will see information for all students in the class that are registered with OARS. In the column 'request date' you can see when the student completed the process to have their letter sent to you via email. You will see students on the list even if they have not yet This means the student has followed the process to formally request their accommodations. If request date is empty, then the students has not formally requested to utilize their accommodations. OARS will continue to remind students to complete the process. 

How to search students by course

Courses for the next semester are uploaded into AIM up to two months before the semester begins. Once students begin sending their letters faculty will be able to see them in the portal by selecting 'Next Term.'

Faculty can reference the Accessibility Statement for Syllabi for context about the Faculty Notification Letter of Accommodation process.
