Summary
eduroam is our campus secure wireless SSID and starting this spring will be a way to connect into the Bethel network. eduroam is a service used by several other schools and provides the benefit of allowing users to connect to the internet at any other participating school or university simply by using their username and password. An increasing number of campuses are using this eduroam service which means you can stay connected with WiFi on their campus with your eduroam profile!
How will this affect me?
By the end of this summer eduroam will replace Bethel WiFi as the means to connect into the Bethel network. This means that you will need eduroam to be able to use WiFi at Bethel.
Students
By this summer, all students will need to install eduroam on their computer and mobile devices to be able to connect to WiFi. Follow the links for installing eduroam on Windows and Macs and on androids and iphones.
Faculty and Staff
For those using a Bethel owned computer, eduroam has already been pushed out to your device. If you want to connect to WiFi on your phone or mobile device you will need to follow the link for installing eduroam on androids or iphones.
