Identifying Course Resources
Locating OER and Library eResources
The Bethel Library, in collaboration with Academic Development, has created the following videos introducing you to both Open Education Resources, or OER, and Library eResources.
We have the opportunity to provide our students with a more affordable education, and a more engaging educational experience, through the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) and the more effective use of the Bethel University Library's eResources. In addition, Bethel's Zero Cost Course Resources Initiative seeks to encourage faculty to use these resources in their courses rather than expensive commercial textbooks.

Whether flipping your classroom or teaching online, pre-recording your presentation allows you to maximize your time with students for synthesis and support. Bethel's Instructional Media team has made available several tutorials with tips on how to create a variety of pre-recorded presentations, as well as summaries of the research on slide design, student engagement with course videos, etc. Check-out these resources.
