Employment at Will
Employment at Will
Employment at Bethel shall generally be "at will" and shall be terminable by Bethel or the employee with or without cause and with or without notice.
Contractual relationships with the University which specify a term of employment are the exception to “at will” employment. Such contractual relationships are governed by the terms and conditions of the contract. Contractual employment must be in writing in the format approved by the University and all contracts must be sanctioned by University management, ratified as per standard contract standards and law, and authorized by University management.
Any oral statements or promises contrary to employment at will and contractual governance above are not binding upon Bethel.
