Moodle Course Not Showing Up
Summary
If a Moodle course does not show up for a student, either the student is not enrolled in the Moodle course or the course is still set to hidden in the course settings.
Moodle Enrollment
Moodle syncs enrollment with Banner each night. If a student registers for a course in Banner, they should be enrolled in the corresponding Moodle course the next day. Please reach out to Moodle support if there are any issues with not being enrolled.
Course Set to Hidden (More Likely)
Every Moodle course, upon creation, is set to be hidden from students until the faculty makes it visible. This allows the faculty to work on the course and have it ready for students before they can access it.
Students, if the course is not visible 2 weeks before the course is set to start, please reach out to the faculty. While Moodle Administrators can make the course visible, we want faculty to have the course ready before making it available.
Faculty, to make the course visible:
Open your Moodle course
Click on Settings at the top of the course
Set Course Visibility to Show
Click on Save Changes at the bottom.
