Guests On-Campus

Guests of Bethel University students are expected to abide by all University policies and student expectations. It is the responsibility of hosts to inform their guests of policies and hold guests accountable to them.

  • Hosts will be held responsible for their guests’ behavior.

  • Guests are limited to a total of three consecutive nights’ stay in any residence hall, not to exceed 6 nights a semester.

  • No guests of the opposite sex may stay in a student’s room or apartment overnight. This includes family members of the student.

  • Guests under the age of 15 are not permitted to stay overnight unless it is through a Bethel-sponsored event/visit. Exceptions are granted by written approval by the Residence Life Office.
  • Overnight guests must abide by all parking regulations. All cars must be registered with the Office of Security and Safety. Cars not registered are subject to ticketing and/or towing.

Abuse of the above policy could result in disciplinary actions and/or cancellation of the student's housing lease.
