Appointment

The process of appointment to full-time faculty status is initiated by the Provost in collaboration with the appropriate Associate Provost, and in consultation with department and/or division chairpersons or program directors and appropriate faculty personnel. The recommendation is brought to the Provost, the President, and the Board of Trustees for approval. In the case of the Seminary, for faculty approval an interview-based endorsement from the Executive Committee or the Seminary Advisory Committee of the board, and an affirmative confirmation vote of the delegates to Bethel’s biennial meeting are necessary.
