Salary Schedule

The faculty compensation schedule has the following features: 

  1. Prescribed minimum salaries for each rank, based on index salary which is adjusted annually.
  2. A step system which results in increases based on years of service, as well as increases in the index salary.
  3. Significant increases as a result of promotion in rank.
  4. No differentiation in compensation on the basis of academic discipline.

Because salary range figures are only accurate for a specific time period, they are not included in this handbook. Faculty members may contact the Office of the Provost to learn the rank specific salary ranges for the year in question.
