Accessing Voicemail from Webex

If you have a Webex account and use the Webex desktop app for calling features, voicemail is accessible from the Webex app as well. This article describes how to call and login to voicemail on the Webex desktop app for the purpose of listening to voicemail messages (if not already sent to your email) or setting new greeting audios (which play before a caller leaves a message).

Logging into Voicemail

  • To log into the voicemail on Webex, first, click the Voicemail icon on the left sidebar of the app (highlighted in yellow on the photo below).

  • Next, click the Call Voicemail icon, which is the small phone icon in the middle column to the right of the “Voicemail” header (also highlighted in yellow on the photo above).

  • Clicking the Call Voicemail icon will begin a call into your voicemail. This will open a 2nd Webex window that only features the call information. An automated message will read, “Welcome to your ComPilot voicemail. Please enter your passcode, then press the # key. If you are not calling from your own phone, press the * key.

  • Click the Keypad button (highlighted in yellow on the photo below) to open the call’s keypad function, which will open in another smaller window overlayed over the previous windows.
