How to Export Files in xProtect

In the "Live" tab start your recording.

When you have finished recording hit the red button to stop and then go to the "Playback" tab.

Select "Time Selection Mode" and select the portion of the clip you would like to export.

Once you have made your selection, hit "Add to export list"

Chose the destination you would like your file exported to. Use the "Media player format" for maximum compatibility. Then hit "Start Export" at the bottom.
