Liteshow - Mac Disconnect Fix
Liteshow: How do I stop my Mac from Disconnecting When Displaying?
Summary
Macintosh users will notice that after about 2-5 minutes they will be disconnected from a display to which they are connected via Liteshow. This is a result of the "app nap" feature implemented in Mac OS Mavericks. Any application not actively being used in the foreground moves to the background and into a "sleep" mode to save energy on all mobile devices (laptops).
Fix:
Step 1: Go to your Applications folder (Macintosh HD > Applications). Open the Applications folder.
NOTE: If you click on the Applications folder in the Dock, then scroll all the way to the bottom of your App list and choose "Open in Finder"'
(Alternately control-click on the Applications folder in the Dock and select Open Applications).
Step 2: Find and click on (single-click) on the Liteshow App to select it.
Step 3: Go to the File menu and select Get Info (or cmd i, or just right click/control-click on the app and select Get Info)
OR
Step 4: In the LiteShow.App Info box check the "Prevent App Nap" checkbox.
