This committee is required by the Federal Government.
Organized in collaboration with: Provost
Membership:
- Veterinarian
- At least 1 research scientist, the committee requests two are assigned
- Ethicist
- Community member from outside the university
Term: Committee Members are appointed by administration
Description:
- To develop research protocols for animal research, reviewing of proposals and checking on compliance.
- Providing training and educational resources
- Approval of all research.
Meetings: about 1-2 X per month.
