OARS Accommodations

Students registered with OARS may receive reasonable accommodation/s.  An accommodation is defined as a modification or adjustment to a course, program or activity that provides a person who has a disability with an equal access and opportunity. Reasonable accommodations should not fundamentally alter courses, programs or activities.

The Office of Accessibility Resources and Services thoroughly reviews each student’s request, self-report, and documentation.  Reasonable accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis based on the student’s request and supportive documentaion of the need.

Accommodations cannot be applied retroactively to course, program or service.
