Faculty Retreats
Faculty Retreats
Retreats are held near the beginning of each school year for the members of the university faculties. All full-time faculty members are required to be in attendance unless campus duties make this impossible, and all part-time faculty members are encouraged to be present. The purposes of these retreats are to:
- become acquainted personally with new members of the Bethel community;
- strengthen our sense of solidarity with colleagues in other disciplines;
- orient ourselves to the human, financial and organizational resources of Bethel at the outset of the year;
- explore in depth some aspect of professional growth;
- commit ourselves anew to the mission of Bethel University in the world.
