Teaching Load

Full-time faculty across the university teach 24 Load Credits (LCs) per year. LCs are generally determined by student course credit. Load for teaching and supervisory responsibilities of laboratories, student teaching, nursing clinicals, coaching, music performance groups, etc. is established within the LC system. LCs are given for administrative duties such as department chairperson, director of the academic computer center, Faculty Development Coordinator, and so forth.
